JAXON'S RACE AGAINST OSTEOSARCOMA
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Alexis Rayne.
I am fundraising for Taime Zillmer and her incredible children, Mia and Jaxon.
On 06/27/22, Jaxon was officially diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer occurring in the growth plate of his left femur. Over the course of 10 months Jaxon has had an amputation (with multiple road bumps) and received chemotherapy which we thought had successfully gotten all the cancer. He was cleared, port removed, and we were ready to move forward. Unfortunately at one of his post op appointments they found another tumor in his right leg. The biopsy told us that it was in fact a metastatic osteosarcoma tumor. His team is confident that an amputation of his lower right leg will remove the tumor and keep the cancer from spreading. He will have his second amputation surgery on 05/11/23. Thankfully he will not have to receive chemotherapy this time!
All donations will go to his next journey… prosthetics and learning how to walk again. Medical technology is amazing but it is very expensive and we need your help!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any donations; we are eternally grateful.
WE WILL OUTRUN THIS!
