Jaxson's open heart surgery

My close friend's son Jaxson who is 5years old, had to go in for an unplanned surgery. Jaxson was born with interrupted aortic arch. He had aortic reconstruction at 9 days old. After the initial surgery he ended up having a heart block, so the doctors went back in and put a pacemaker. This time however was unplanned. On May 16th karissa took jaxson in for a normal cardiology visit and found out his place maker had gone into battery save mode due to a fractured lead. The fractured lead was detected once they arrived to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto, California. They replaced the pacemaker generator (battery), the ventricular lead, and the conduit in his heart. After being discharged and has his follow up appointment, Jaxson will have 6 weeks of recovery. His mother Karissa will be out of work for 2 months and I am hoping this will help relieve her of some of the financial burden and stress while she takes care of Jaxson and her almost 2year old daughter charlee. They had a lot of travel and living expenses on top of every day Bill's with having to travel to California from Boise, Idaho and not being able to work the next 2 months. Anything that can help relieve some financial stress I know would be appreciated. I am doing this for her since she is busy enough traveling for Jaxsons surgery and taking care of her children.
