“Jaxtyn’s Fighting Chance” - 7 week Clinical Trial
Donation protected
Lacey (Shaw) Escobeda’s baby Jaxtyn was born with a rare genetic disease, Niemann Pick - Type C.

While there is no cure, Jax has been invited to be a part of a clinical trial for a new medicine that may help prolong his life. This is the only clinical trial for his age group since this disease is so rare and doesn’t normally present this early.
The catch: 7-week trial begins at the end of this month, and is all the way in St. Louis, MO (900 miles away.) It requires him to stay in the NICU while she lives in a nearby hotel attached to the hospital. His momma will be unable to work and will be away from her village of support during this time.
We (Jax’s Aunties) invite our friends and loved ones to rally to help us fund this short-notice trial. We pray it will lead to treatment that could prolong and/or improve his quality of life.
Our fundraising goal includes paying her monthly bills and expenses, medical bills incurred up to this point, as well as costs associated with living out of town for two months.
Thank you in advance for your prayers and generosity.
Love,
The “Aunties”
