Hey there, my name is Jay and I’m a 34 year old non-binary trans masc (they/them) artist seeking funds to go towards my top surgery!

If you’re reading this, I want to thank you for showing interest in me, and my top surgery journey.

This life-changing procedure will remove unnecessary breast tissue, allowing me to feel more comfortable in my own skin. However, insurance coverage only goes so far, and I am facing a significant financial gap to cover the remaining costs. Your donations and art purchases will directly support my ability to access this essential surgery, which will have a profound impact on my mental health, self-esteem, and overall well-being. Every contribution, big or small, brings me closer to a more authentic and fulfilling life.

I have always felt severe gender dysphoria when it comes to my chest. Never once have I felt as if my chest were truly a part of me. This surgery is something that is vital to my well-being. I have never needed something so severely and life changing. I have never needed the help of my community as I do right now. I came out as non-binary and transmasculine in 2020. After a few consultatio She made me feel so understood and cared for, offers the procedure I need, and has beautiful results.

My surgery date is in the first week of March 2024.

The cost of surgery was quoted around $11,000 and does not include post-surgery and recovery supplies.

Luckily, we are able to use Care Credit but need the help with paying it back.

I will also be selling my artwork and using the funds from sales to go towards my top surgery.

As some of you may know, my partner has fibromyalgia and is disabled. This adds another layer to needing help during my recovery.

The $7,000 goal is a dream number that would keep us comfortable throughout this process, keep us on track for future planning, and provide a cushion in case I take a little longer to get back on my feet.
