Jay Shoemaker

Im samantha shoemaker. Jays younger sister. This is not something i want to do or write. My older brother, Jay is 32 years old. In November he had open heart surgery to replace his heart valve, because of a really bad infection and growth on it. He has been sick off and on and had a port in his arm to run antibiotic treatment to get rid of the heart infection. Part of the growth broke off and cause a blood clot in his brain which gave him a massive stroke. He was taken from Baxter to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, where they found a brain bleed. They needed to do surgery to stop it but his platelets were too low so they were giving him blood, they intubated him. His brain bleed was so bad and they could not do surgery that it shoved his brain all the way to one side, and he was complete brain dead. The doctor said there was nothing else they could do for him, and they pulled the plug in my brother passed away. He is now an angel in the sky and it is not goodbye it is until we see you again. He was married to Megan and had three girls living with him, and one that lived away from him. He left all them behind he left his mom and dad behind and me and our other sister and my little brother. He left behind so many other family members, and friends. And everyone knows Jay, knows that he had a heart of gold and would help anybody that he could. Thank you guys in advance for the donations, if you cannot donate please share and pray for the family.
