Jay Sidhu Malawi 2024 - 80km a week for 8 weeks

Hi, my name is Jay Sidhu, a 13 year old Scout from the 1st Purley & Pangbourne Scout Group. In July 2024 I will be travelling to Malawi in Africa to take part in a community project. We will be there for 3 weeks and aim to build a new community building, build a new toilet block and refurbish a community centre. We will be working with the local community and local builders to achieve this.

As part of my fundraising I have set myself a personal challenge which I would really love being sponsored for. It is 8 months until we travel and approximately 8000km to Malawi. Therefore, to stick with the number 8 I have challenged myself to run, cycle and walk 80km a week for 8 weeks. I will keep you updated on my progress via updates on this page. I will start the challenge on Monday 27th November.
