Jeanette's Cancer Fund

It is with a heavy heart that I'm creating this go fund me. My wifes cousin Jeanette Burgos was diagnoised with stage 3b Lung Cancer.  She is a proud mother of four boys. She always wanted a girl and a few months ago, she was blessed with a beautiful granddaughter.

For 10 years, she has driven a school bus of elementary kids for the Orange County  public school system. A year ago she purchased a home that she worked so hard for and  like most new home owners, she had a renewed sense of self worth and accomplishment . We were so proud of her. She's an avid sports fan and moved to Florida to provide a better quality of life for her children.

 I have struggled to put into words how special this woman truly is . Her smile  illuminates an entire room, with a personality just as vibrant. Jeanette is everything you could wish for in a releative, person and more important a friend.

Due to this unfortunate circumstance, she is not able to work, there is no time table of when, or if she will be able to return to work. She is in danger of losing her medical insurance and is struggling to pay her mortage and bills, which only exacerbates her situation. This journey will not be easy,  though she is up for the fight, the fear of the unknown is immense. Jeanette just started radiation treatment to shrink the tumor in her lung, With hopes the doctor's can remove the tumor. Jeanette  is feeling the affects of the treatment as her kidneys are damaged. We are fundraising to help alleviate her financial burden while she attacks this cancer head on. All funds raised will be used for living expenses and treatment.
