Jayce’s bone marrow journey

Hello all, 4 year old Jayce is the son of my coworker Matt and his wife Jen.

Jayce took ill a week ago and after a bone marrow biopsy he was diagnosed with aplastic anemia a very rare and serious disease.

He needs a bone marrow transplant , his little sister is being tested Tuesday in hopes she’s a match.

His parents have a long road ahead as they will be traveling to CHOP in Philadelphia multiple times.

They both have missed work due to being in the hospital and will be missing more as this journey continues.

My hope is that we can help this family take at least some burden off their shoulders so they can be there for their son and each other.
