Jayda Otosquaiob Memorial Bursary
Donation protected
Jayda was a 13-year-old Anishnaabe girl from Manitoulin Island who was in the child-welfare system all of her life. She was bright, talented, loved children, and had the most beautiful smile. She was a daughter, sister, granddaughter, great granddaughter, and auntie.
We would like to fundraise to have a bursary available for Indigenous students going into post-secondary that have gone through the child-welfare system. We believe that a bursary in Jayda's name will help alleviate finances for students from Manitoulin Island.
Thank you to all who have donated to us so far! All of your support has helped us greatly. We can't wait to support students in the coming years through Jayda's name and beautiful memory.
