Jayden Goody

It is with a heavy heart that this fundraiser is being started in support of funeral and memorial funds for my niece Jayden Goody. As many know, Jayden has been in the PICU at Akron Childrens Hospital since this past Saturday. She had been fighting for her life after a sudden onset of flu type A leading into pneumonia and cardiac arrest. She was pronounced legally dead on Monday at 4:18pm at the tender age of 17. Jayden is with God in heaven. She is still on life support as arrangements are being made for her to give her gift of life to another. Jayden was the most innocent and loving child. An absolute blessing to her family and those that had the joy and opportunity to know her. Her love of life and all of the aspects of it surpasses what most can understand. She found joy in everything and every day could be the best day ever. She had a positive outlook in every situation, that many could learn from. Jayden loved nature, her bike, and swimming. She loved to sing and dance and play instruments. Beauty and crafts. Making people laugh and laughing with them. She could teach herself anything with a hope and a YouTube video. She loved to be with her family and make memories and had a memory that forgot nothing. Jayden loved her school. She worked in the cat Cafe, the cafeteria, she helped wash laundry for the football team, and went with her teachers to clean the churches. She loved her teachers at Norwayne school district. She wanted to be independent and couldn't wait to be an adult. She had hopes of going to her first prom and everything else life had to offer. No family ever plans to go through this and we were not completely prepared. Jayden was a blessing and she would want to help people. She will go on to help others and we ask now that people help give her the funeral and memorial that she deserves. I ask now that each and everyone of you watch your loved ones closely. Jayden was at an appointment Friday. She had said she was starting to feel unwell and was assessed. She was sent home and told to rest. When she went to sleep there was no fever. Within 19 hours of her appointment she was found unresponsive in her bed at 6am. This hardship is unimaginable
