Jayden, Kellen & Logan-U19 USA Underwater Hockey

We are Jayden, Kellen, and Logan Duong. Have you heard of underwater hockey? Underwater hockey, known as Octopush, is played completely underwater and combines elements of swimming, snorkeling, and hockey. Well six years ago, we ventured into the realm of underwater hockey and discovered a thrilling sport. Through the Youth San Francisco Sea Lions team, we’ve had the pleasure to shape ourselves as professional athletes. One of our favorite training events has been attending clinics led by professional players, where we've honed our skills and gained invaluable insights. We've faced formidable opponents in tournaments and nationals, teaching us the vital importance of teamwork and communication. Playing amongst one another, we've grown as players, and also developed a stronger bond as brothers.

Filled with unforgettable moments and inspiring experiences, our journey has not only been influenced by the sport itself but also individuals who have supported us through this time. We want to give a special shoutout to our parents, family, coaches, friends and the underwater hockey community. Altogether, in 2023, we achieved a significant milestone by winning the nationals championship allowing us to broaden our horizon of the game. Now we have the opportunity to go to the World Championships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It's been our dream to represent Team USA. We are absolutely thrilled and simultaneously incredulous that our dream is drawing nearer.

We’ve traveled across the United States to interact amongst the hockey community in tournaments, training camps, nationals, etc. It involves a significant financial investment, often flying in specifically for weekend events at these different destinations. Requesting financial support is never a simple task. However, every contribution, regardless of its size, will play a significant role in bringing us closer to realizing our dream.
