Jayden's Journey: From Trauma to Triumph

Hello, I am the father of Jayden, the 13-year-old boy that was hit by a Toyota truck in Burlington on August 9th. I initially thought of this to replace his bike and get him the best helmet on the planet. His Apple AirPods and Apple Watch were broken in the event as well. We are like most families, living paycheck to paycheck, unfortunately.

In further discussion with our family, we realized that we are going to have extremely high medical bills coming in due to Jayden's Life Flight to Harborview from Skagit Valley Hospital. We will have to contact a lawyer's office to back us in our future battle with insurance companies. Also, I would like my son to receive some aftercare with our chiropractor in Mount Vernon. So, I thought I would reach out to our community for assistance.

I am forever grateful for the services our son received from Burlington Police, Medics, and Life Flight helicopter from Coupeville. Also, the Harborview crew for their services as well. The whole event has been really overwhelming, but I appreciate each and every one of you for your kind words, encouragement, prayers, and reaching out to our family.
