JayJay’s Funeral & Memorial Costs

Our beloved Jeremy Francisco Godoy, better known as “JayJay” to most and all, recently gained his wings and transitioned this past Saturday May 27th. JayJay was a genuine, loving, & giving son/ husband/ father/ brother/ cousin/ nephew, and overall friend to those who’ve ever known him and were blessed with his presence. He unfortunately leaves behind so many loved ones near and far who are still so shocked and hurt by this unforeseen loss.

JayJay was a family man 1st. Besides his love for all his many cars you’ve probably seen throughout the years in the Southend, family was his #1. He leaves behind his wife Jeanette who is currently 7 1/2 months pregnant with their 3rd child/ 1st baby girl, 2 sons, parents, sister, grandparents, all of his many nieces & nephews, all of his cousins and brothers. Many others around the way may also remember him as the local car mechanic and you either pulled up on him at Grease Monkey back in the day or Formula 1. Maybe might’ve bought/ sold/ traded a car with him.. if you know you know cars was his second love. JayJay comes from a big family and a community of loved ones and all he wanted was to be around them and create special memories. A simple and loving man who leaves behind such a positive impact due to his genuine & loving character/ energy.

We are all devastated by JayJay’s unforeseen and sudden loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. His wife Jeanette was not prepared to bear all of the responsibility and be a single mother of her 2 boys and upcoming new born baby girl in July alone either. We want to give JayJay the memorial he deserves to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes, and to make sure his wife and kids are able to have a set up to make this unfortunate transition of life without JayJay.

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of JayJay’s funeral. We need to try and raise $15,000 by Wednesday May 31st in order to be able to afford the funeral service and cover the necessary costs to make sure JayJay gets the home-going he deserves. Anything left over after the covered costs will go to his wife Jeanette for their kids Jeremy Jr, Jeremiah, and upcoming newborn baby girl Jennalyn who will unfortunately never get to meet her father JayJay. But through his children and all of his loved ones, we will forever keep his name and impact alive.
