Jay Jorgensen's Medical Fund

My name is Jayson Jorgensen and I am setting this campaign up on behalf of my family, and more specifically, my dad Jan Jay Jorgensen.

On Thursday October 20th, my dad had a near fatal accident when he had a heart attack and suffered a head injury. His accident left him with a 5 inch gash on the back of his head and caused his heart/breathing to stop.

We are so thankful that my mother was home to call 911 and to perform CPR and incredibly grateful for the emergency response from the EMTs in Clinton city that were able to save his life.

My dad is currently in critical condition in the ICU at Davis Hospital and Medical Center in Layton, Utah. The doctors are very optimistic about his progress, but are unsure about his overall recovery at this point as he isn't awake yet and is still using a ventilator to breathe.

The most important thing to us is that he gets the best care possible and that he can recover because he's a great man with a wife, 5 kids, and 4 grandkids, not to mention the countless other people that can't wait to see him up again living his life.

Unfortunately ambulance rides, emergency room visits, extended stays in the ICU, and whatever other care he is going to need will rack up a large medical bill. So we are humbly asking for any donations we can get to help our family pay for my dad's medical bill.

Any amount would help and it would mean so much to us as a family to have a little bit of the burden lifted off of our shoulders in this tough time. Thanks.
