My sweet niece, Jayne, is 15 months old and has been diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis [LCH].
Jayne's diagnosis began when they found a growth in her mouth that was pushing the left side of her upper molars down. She was taken to see a specialist for a CT scan where they found a mass/tumor from her upper jaw bone following her nasal cavity to her upper left eye and that was starting to deteriorate her upper jaw bone.
She has spent the last week admitted at Children's Hospital in Dallas and has undergone a biopsy and PET scan, as well as receiving steroid and chemo treatments, with six weeks of chemo ahead of her.
Jayne is a sweetheart with her feisty little spirit. Her nurses love her from her matching hospital gowns and hair bows, to her dancing-while-snacking self.
With the COVID restrictions leaving Brandon and Alexandra alone at the hospital, so many people have asked how they can help. Anything you can donate will be truly appreciated.
