Support Jay-Paul Thibault's Recovery Efforts from Helene

My name is Jay-Paul Thibault. I'm from Burnsville, NC, and I appreciate the support of all of my friends, family, and associates. These funds will be used to rebuild my house, glass studio, and bridge to my property.

I am heartbroken as I see the destruction from Hurricane Helene of our community of Burnsville, North Carolina. All that we've poured our hearts into has been damaged or destroyed. Now, we face the long road of rebuilding our lives from the ground up.

My name is Jay-Paul Thibault and I moved to Burnsville, NC in the Fall of 2022. I quickly grew to love this community and call it my home. I was building a house on my property as well as making plans to build and set up my own hot glass shop. I've been working on developing this property over the last two years - Building it myself I owned all my own carpentry equipment and tools and in anticipation of setting up my hot glass shop I had my glass furnace, my glass and all of the tools and equipment for glass work stored on the property.

Everything that I own has been swept away.

The proceeds from this request will go to help me and my community rebuild.

This money will be used to rebuild the house that was destroyed by hurricane Halene. The house is going to be built 20 to 40 feet higher than the highest point the water reached. It’s too early to get accurate details about the structure.
