Jayson Delorme Fund

Hi, my name is Chandra, and I’m starting this fundraiser for my dad Jayson. For his 48th birthday on July 4th, I took him paint balling. Little did we know there were hot spots of the parsnip plant. The next day he thought he caught poison Ivey and had rashes all over his legs. A few days later both his legs were completely covered with blisters the size of golf balls and 2nd degree burns. I have never seen someone in so much pain. On my 25th birthday I admitted my dad at the Queensway hospital. His body is now 80% covered with blisters and burns. The infection got in his blood stream and is continuing to spread all over his body. He can’t move or walk. He’s now out of work for a couple of months and is stressed beyond words. The doctors are confused and thinking about transferring him to a different hospital that may have doctors who have seen this before and know how to treat it. It’s one of the worst cases they’ve ever seen and he is considered as a burn patient. He’s been seeing multiple dermatologist as he will probably need skin grafting.

A little bit about my dad: He is the most generous, kind hearted human I’ve ever met and lucky enough to call me dad. He’s so talented in his line of work with contracting, building, electrical and renovations. He’s the guy you want to be around when you’re having a bad day to make you smile and laugh. Nothings pains me more seeing him at this state, because no one deserves to be going through this especially my dad. He’s the best man I know.
