Meet my dying father for 1st time

Dear Family & Friends:

I am sending this request to ask for your assistance with the purchase of a plane ticket to see my father who is dying of cancer.  I've never met my father in person and recently through a test confirmed he is in fact my biological father. He lives in Monte Video, Uruguay down in South America and this  is where I could use your help as the cost for flights is very expensive. 

Any support you can provide would be greatly appreciated as I don't want to regret not trying to go meet him face to face while he is still alive. With the $2,000 I will be able to purchase a ticket and cover other travel expenses and get down to see him as soon as possible given his health condition.

I hope to one day see him in heaven and want to use this as an opportunity to see if he can acccept Jesus before he passes.
