Jazmine's England Academic Fund

Hello my name is Jazmine Charles. I'm starting this Go Fund Me account to help me pursue my dream of playing professional basketball. Let me tell you a little bit about me. When I first started playing basketball, I didn't realized that I would want to play basketball in high school or even in college. I played basketball because it was fun and I enjoyed every minute of it and I STILL DO :-) As I continued to play play basketball, I soon realized how much I LOVED playing! As I continued playing travel basketball with the Winston-Salem Stealers and with the Lady Magic, and later for Central Davidson High School (Lexington, NC), I realized that I wanted to play college basketball. GOD STEPPED IN!!! After graduating high school, I was fortunate and blessed to be given an opportunity to play basketball at the next level. I was offered an athletic scholarship to play collegiate basketball at Lenoir-Rhyne University (Hickory, NC). When I first arrived at Lenoir-Rhyne, I wasn't sure if I wanted to play basketball at the  professional level but as I continue to play at Lenoir-Rhyne, I knew that I wanted to give it a shot (literally). GOD STEPPED IN AGAIN!!!! I have been blessed with an opportunity to continue playing basketball while pursuing my Master's degree in Marketing, Media, and Advertising at the University of Essex-Colchester in England. This is a huge opportunity for me. Although this is awesome, it comes with a price. I have to show that I can cover my housing expenses which is $5000 in order to obtain my Visa and  other expenses such as my books and other expenses once I arrive in England. By starting this Go Fund Me account, I am hoping that anyone who would like to help me continue my dream of pursuing a professional basketball career will contribute to this account. To me anything will help and just your support means the world to me!
