Jazz For Vets

Greetings to all: I'm the leader of the 19 piece John Paulson Big Band and we're giving a free fund raising concert at 7:00 pm November 11 (Veterans Day) at Wellington's Pub and Grill in Winona, MN. We will donate all contributions from this site and the those collected at the concert to the MACV organization in order to assist homeless Veterans in SE Minnesota. Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to ending Veteran homelessness in Minnesota.

From their site: "Founded in 1990, MACV is the largest agency solely dedicated to serving Veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Minnesota. We pursue our work with a vision for every Veteran we serve to have access to services and supports needed to avoid homelessness and achieve sustainable housing. Our team offers case management, financial assistance, legal services, and employment assistance."

I don't believe that ANY veteran who has served our country should be left out in the cold and homeless! As a result, I will be collecting funds prior to and after the concert via this site until December 15, 2023. 100% of the funds collected will go to MACV to assist Minnesota homeless vets.

If you wish to attend the live big band jazz performance at Wellington's November 11 at 7:00 pm, you should arrive early to find a seat and have dinner. They are located at 1429 W.
