Singing has been my passion for as long as I can remember.I love the feeling I get when I am performing in front of an audience and sharing my talent!
On a very personal note, I was born 3 months premature- weighing only 1lb 12 ounces! I have had my share of academic challenges since grade school. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism because of my strong work ethic. My parents, Steve and Agatha Leonard have always encouraged me to do my best in everything I do. I love and appreciate them. My brother Jenson supports me too.
I want my music to be the guiding force behind my philanthropy. I want to start my own foundation for young music artists,particularly young African American girls and boys in the inner cities of Pittsburgh. I’ve been performing my own unique renditions of cover songs for quite some time. My dream(goal) is to be a successful recording artist .I have finally found an amazing team of producers and songwriters to help me create original material that will go on my 1st album for release!
I want people to feel as inspired when they hear my music ,as I feel when I hear music of certain other recording artists who have made a positive impact in my life,and given my strength to follow my dreams.
I am starting to record my catalog with some amazing producers and songwriters. Music has always been an important part of my life.I have been working hard performing at as many venues in Pittsburgh, PA , South Bend, IN and wherever else I can.
My resume is extensive and I am excited to start performing with a live band, when I have my album released to the public. I just started to write my own music. I figured, I have a heck of a lot to say and want to give people music to listen to. I am working with an awesome team- my voice coach, songwriter/vocal arranger, producers and mentors!
I want to produce the best possible product that I can for my fans and supporters who've watched me grow as an artist along the way thus far in my musical journey!
MY PLAN WITH FUNDING-
*Recording my 1st Album with various producers in the Pittsburgh ,PA area.
*RELEASE Party (venue/Band fees)
*Begin working with an Artist Development/Management company
*Marketing/Promotion I don't want to make an amazing product and don't have the funds to get it heard and exposed the right way!!
*Getting the CD Mixed & Mastered: Mastering - $600 *T-Shirt Design,Duplication
*Copyrighting my work and
* Trademarking my name! $114 -
MOST IMPORTANTLY, remember, if I don't raise the full $7,000 amount, I don't get ANY of those funds for my project.

*It will get me booked to more professional venues
*It will open doors for me to possibly be an opening act for MAJOR recording artists on a tour.
*It will be promoted through various media sites, local,regional, and national.
