Sant Andreu Jazz Band JAZZING 14

Help Joan Chamorro and the Sant Andreu Jazz Band with the creation of JAZZING 14, a double CD that will be released in 2024.

Jazzing 14 will be composed of music recorded at the 10th Jazzing Festival (2023) with the Sant Andreu Jazz Band along with along with Scott Hamilton, Joel Frahm, Alba Pujals, Gerry Lopez, Edu Ferrer, Èlia Bastida, etc. It will also include recordings made in the Jazz House with a variety of guests.

The CD's play a vital role in the continuity of the SAJB, because they attract music lovers to the band's concerts. Sale of CD's also provides income, as do the various streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp), but the income from sales and services often does not cover the cost of producing them. This is why we - the administrators of the Friends of SAJB and Amis du SAJB Facebook groups - want to raise €5.000 (approx US$ 5,500, £4,300) to contribute to the production of the CD's.

Joan Chamorro fully supports this fundraising effort and sends us the following message: “Thanks to all the Friends and Amis who make the future of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band a little brighter with this fundraiser. With your help we will not only be able to make the different CDs (and respective videos) see the light, but you will also help us so that the project can move forward. The money received will be donated in full to the Associació Sant Andreu Jazz Band (Barcelona, Spain). The administration of this fundraising is done by the Association Amis du Sant Andreu Jazz Band, an association registered in France with a council of 15 members.
