JazzWorks Canada Fundraiser

JazzWorks Canada, in operation for over 30 years, provides a special niche for adults and high school students in the Ottawa community to immerse themselves in a variety of jazz education initiatives and opportunities including:
  • an annual Composers' Symposium / Practice Retreat
  • an annual Summer Jazz Camp that takes place at CAMMAC Music Centre
  • our “JazzWorks Presents” Concert Series, featuring professional local and international musicians
  • Master Classes and Intensive Workshops with top professional jazz artists/educators
  • Monthly Jam Sessions and Vocal Open Mic Nights
  • our "Jazz in the Schools" outreach program in the Ottawa Public Schools

Like many other non-profits affected by COVID-19, JazzWorks was unable to offer our usual in-person jazz education activities. During the pandemic, our participants lost regular occasions to play together through public performances and jam sessions, our faculty lost performance and teaching opportunities, and JazzWorks itself lost a debilitating amount of regular and potential revenue.

JazzWorks is the only adult-oriented jazz education organization in the Ottawa area. We work off grants and generous donations from people like you! If you are interested in keeping the jazz music form alive and well, come to one of our events to check us out, and consider donating.

To help get the word out, please share this GoFundMe link on your Facebook.
