Single mother of five amazing children forced to leave Army veteran husband due to DV/Mental Health reasons. Help for her large family has been difficult to practically impossible to find. Right after her interview with King 5 news Jessica received word that the motel they were staying at is closing due to the COVID-19 pandemic and they now have to be out of the hotel by Thursday March 19. Other urgent/emergent needs the family have are: • Place to stay (Help trying to find a better long term solution than a hotel room) •They are at risk of losing their storage units (that hold ALL of their possessions) in the next week if balances not paid in full. (Pak-a-Nut storage Bellingham and Save-on Storage Mount Vernon ) • Childcare/nanny • Help with food • Vehicle maintenance (Only mode of transportation in desperate need of some work and tires) Any help will make a difference for this family desperately trying to get through more life crisis’s than any family ever should have to to deal with at any given time, let alone all at the same time during a pandemic.
