Team JBMach3 just finished a fantastic rookie season and is seeking donations for the upcoming 2015-16 season.
The team, led by driver John Macchione (Tewksbury, NJ) with brakemen Tommy Wilkinson (Salt Lake City, UT) and Andrew Blaser (Louisville, KY), ranked 70th in the FIBT World Rankings after a short schedule. Rookie teams are typically not allowed to compete for Team USA in international competition, but an exception was made for our team. At North American Cup races 7 & 8, the team finished 12th ahead of sleds from countries such as Canada, New Zealand, and Jamaica. They then went on to finish 2nd at the Annual Utah Winter Games against other USA sleds.
Team USA athletes are unpaid so we depend on donations and sponsorships to continue our Olympic journey. Please be a part of our journey by donating to our team today!
Bobsled is a very expensive sport and most of the cost is on the athletes. We need to buy new runners for this season which can cost up to $10,000. We also need to cover our costs for transportation, housing, helmets, shoes, and much much more. Every bit helps, so please donate what you can!
