Help for Cypress

Last week on July 23rd Cypress was checked into the ICU after suffering a stroke. His kidneys were weak, he had bleeding in his brain, but he has been exhibiting so much strength.

Today, July 28th, he still has bleeding, he still does not have movement on his right side, his feeding tube was put back in due to lack of nutrients and he still can not speak. His kidneys have improved and seems to understand as he responds with head nods, head shakes and makes noises/grunts in response to questions and directions. He’s been getting more agitated the more he’s messed with, because he just wants to sleep. In Cyp fashion, he does not like to be messed with and has found a way to get his point across when he’s bothered. The fight is still strong in him.

As much improvement as he has shown, he still has a long road to recovery. We have been asked how everyone can help and helping us prepare for his future is what’s needed. Once he’s released from the hospital, he will need care. We need help settling his affairs while he heals. Also when he is back to himself, he won’t have such a hard time adjusting to life. If anyone would consider donating, it would be greatly appreciated.
