HELP JODY FIGHT CANCER

Hello, my name is Willa Sutherland. I am the advocate of my 55 years old unmarried dear stepson Jody Fazekas.

On January 2023 Jody was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. After he had a surgery to remove part of his intestines, he underwent multiple rounds of chemotherapy, then immunotherapy

and was prescribed several other prescriptions.

* On March 6, 2024, he received encouraging news from his Oncologist that the cancer treatment was working.

*One of the tumors was gone.

*While another shrank 29 percent since December 2023.

It was the best news in over a year!

However this good news is short lived. While enduring these challenges he faced side effects of the cancer treatment that made him

physically weak, he was terminated from the company that he worked for because of his absences. Losing

his job was another setback. On

*April 1, 2024 his cancer treatment ended because his medical insurance lapsed. He was advised to get his own medical insurance to continue his cancer treatment. He lost his job because of his illness and he is just depending on his disability insurance (SSDI) and his meager personal savings that have been depleted.

He has tried to reach out to other resources such as Patient Advocate Foundation but so far PAF not able to find resources to enable Jody to medically qualify. He applied at UPMC for you of Pennsylvania at their disability program but he doesn't qualify either.

Jody is such a kind-hearted man who has done much volunteering work in his community in Pennsylvania. He would rather give than receive but this is not possible at the moment.

Jody is humbly asking for any donations to help defray his dire medical expenses needed to treat his cancer.

*His next CT Scan is scheduled April 15, 2024 and cancer treatment thereafter.!
