If you don’t already know, let me tell you… Table saws and fingers don’t mix.. … After 50 years of wood working, on Thursday June 9th, my tools got me.
Although my fingers are still there, the damage to my right hand will be keeping me out of my woodshop for at least a year. Both my middle and pointer fingers were almost sawed off in the incident. My right pointer finger is broken in two locations, and I severed all the nerves and tendons in my middle finger.
I go into micro surgery on Monday the 13th at Waimea Hospital, with 6-8 weeks recovery, before all the pins are expected to be removed. At least 3 months of “rest”
and intensive physical therapy to follow for the rest of the year if not longer.
Its not easy for me to ask for your kōkua (help) in these already financially hard times.. but as most of you know, my hands are my income. If you’re able to donate, mahalo and god bless you. If you’re unable to donate, no worries. Your love thoughts and prayers are more than enough, and god bless you too! . ❤️ Aloha ke Akua
