My First Classroom

I am thrilled to be starting a brand new career as an elementary school teacher! Next month I will be teaching first grade in Albany, CA, and my classroom is completely bare. I want to create a warm, welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. In addition to the school supply stipend, I will need funds for things like books, bookshelves, educational games, free-time activities, legos, board games, large teaching easels, individual whiteboards and markers, pocket charts, alphabet and phonics charts, art supplies and caddies, a rug, a small couch, bean bag chairs, fairy lights, plants, a mindfulness bell, breathing balls, math manipulatives, stress/fidget toys, turn-in baskets, filing units, and educational software, to name a few. . .
