Thank you for visiting the Joan Leigh Hayes Trust for the Support, Maintenance and Education of her Children.
A love of Chocolate and all things sweet introduced Joan Hayes to many of you visiting this page. In Joan's own words "I live in a small town in Georgia where kids still say ‘yes ma’am and ‘no sir’ and the food is mostly cooked from scratch. I’m lucky enough to be mom to CJ (18), Cassie (16) and Grace (13) which means that, in addition to cooking, I also work as a taxi service, homework checker, laundry doer, housecleaner and gardener. Although, to be honest I try to avoid those last two as much as possible."
Sadly, Joan passed away suddeny from a heart attack on Thursday, October 22, 2015, in Byron, GA, leaving behind her three much loved and adored children. She was just 49 years old.
I ask as a community of friends, Chocolate lovers or anyone blessed to have loved or been loved that we band together to help support the future needs of CJ, Cassie, and Grace. All donations will go directly to the Joan Leigh Hayes Trust for the Support, Maintenance and Education of her Children
to help them fufill their dreams as they grow into the young adults Joan wanted them to be.
Thank you so very much.
