Hello everyone, my name is Jennifer Lopez. I am the youngest daughter of María Elena Islas. I am reaching out for support to raise funds for my mother who is currently in hospice care. My mom had surgery in July to remove a cyst. Unfortunately, she had an allergic reaction to a medication administered to prevent blood clots. Her body started to create blood clots, which led to two abdominal surgeries. At that point, the medical team informed us there was nothing else that could be done for my mother. She is being strong and fighting every day, but we know that her health is quickly declining. My mother has expressed her funeral wishes, and we are raising funds to make it possible. This is a very difficult time for all of our family. If you find it in your heart to give a donation towards her funeral expenses, we would greatly appreciate it.
