Steven’s Road to Recovery

Steven was in a head on collision and suffered severe injuries. He suffered a lacerated spleen, kidney, liver, and colon. He broke his femur, fibula, pelvis, hand and sternum. He endured a 9 hour surgery today that went well. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him. We have felt the love from so many family and friends. Many of you have asked how you can help and so we thought we would set this up. Anything will help thank you!

UPDATE!

Steven did well all night. They started him on tube feeding and PO meds (through the tube that goes to his stomach). They weaned him down on his sedation and have been testing if he can breathe on his own. So far he is doing great. You can tell he wants this tube out and the trauma team will be around shortly to evaluate. Pray that he’ll breathe well on his own so he can get this tube out!
