Jean Pierres Ruptured Eye

Jean Pierre was rescued from the Bronx in early July by a family. They did not treat his upper respiratory infection so by the time we got him on 7/9, he had a bad cold and very infected left eye.

We started antibiotics and eye medication right away. Things seemed to be going ok, but this week, his poor little kitten eye ruptured. It has been virtually exploding in front of his rescuers face. Horrifying, truly.

We raced him to the closest, but unfortunately very expensive, emergency vet who had an opthamologist. He needs the eye out. Immediately.

We are working with Little Wanderers who will hopefully get an affordable grant, soon. This GoFundMe is to cover today’s emergency visit & pain medication, and whatever is left over will be applied to his eye enucleation.

The rescuer who got him has been rescuing for 8 years on the tough streets of NYC. She has rescued well over 1500 cats / kittens. Please help her get her little Angel out of distress
