Jeanette Green Fundraiser for Medical Bills

Hello,

I am Diana Smith raising funds for Jeanette Green to pay for medical bills, travel and living expenses. Jeanette (49) was recently diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. She will be starting chemotherapy on June 23rd which will be biweekly for the next 6 months. Upon completion she will have a mastectomy and radiation. She recently had a port put in place for treatment and is trying to continue to work even though it is causing so much pain.

Jeanette is married to Steve (61) and has two young children. Unfortunately Steve is battling stage 4 bladder and kidney cancer and it has started to spread throughout his body. The prognosis is poor. Their children Elizabeth (12) and Joseph (9) are coping as well as possible but are facing an uncertain future for both parents.

Both Jeanette and Steve are self employed and have worked extremely hard their whole lives. Jeanette is a massage therapist colleague of mine. Their insurance will cover some medical expenses but with both bread winners facing loss of work, travel and daily living expenses will become too much. With Steve being sick for quite some time resources have been depleted. The addition of Jeanette's diagnosis will prove catastrophic for the family.

Jeanette has given herself to family and clients time and time again. She has been a wonderful friend and colleague to me and I want to help her as much as possible.
