Jeanette Leonard’s Family

On Saturday, April 14th, my friend , Jeanette Leonard, lost her home to the tornado in Elon, Va. She was at work with me only 1 mile away from home. Her family was at home during the tornado. It lifted the trailer, flipped it and dropped it down the hill. Her daughter had surgery on her foot yesterday and her husband had leg surgery also. He will have his ankle repaired once the swelling is gone. He will be in a wheelchair for 3 months. Jeanette just moved to Elon. She has no family here. No renters insurance, no health insurance. They now have no clothes or anything. Their vehicle key was in the trailer. So no transportation now. When they are discharged from the hospital they have NO where to go. Jeanette will not be able to work for a while so she can take care of the family. She desperately needs help. She’s not well known in the community as she just moved here.
