Jeanina Quezada's Eaton Fire Recovery Fund
Donation protected
My mother, Jeanina Quezada, lost her home of 27 years to the Eaton Fire in Altadena on January 8, 2025. She lost her home, her belongings, and her livelihood. This house held all she had.
She is a piano teacher and runs a children's music class business, Foothills Music Together. Her beautiful piano and the equipment for her music classes are gone. She is trying to continue to teach and run her business in her new makeshift life - to provide a routine for her students whose lives have also been impacted by the fire.
I made this page to streamline donations for those who have asked how they can help. She has continuing mortgage payments and business expenses. This fund will help her pay for ongoing expenses as she figures out her next steps. Any excess funds will be given to her community. Nearly the whole town has burned.
She is safe with family but in shock. Due to LA county's negligence in using only feeble texts for the evacuation orders, she is lucky to be alive.
Thank you for all your kind words...
