Jeanne McKnight- Open Heart Surgery

My mother, Jeanne, is a surivior of cancer. We are here to share her story and help assist her with the outstanding and upcoming medical bills. I would first like to say thank you for taking the time to read our story.
The medical road that my mom has been on, is one that not many would survive. Over the past twenty-five plus years my mom has been diagnosed with Hodgkins disease, Non-Lymphoma, breast cancer which resulted in a double mastectomy. Additional medical complications include, bowel obstructions, three heart attacks, and has been given multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation for her Hodgkins, Non-Lymphma, and breast cancer.
Recently, she was experiencing pain in her chest, cold like symptoms, and shortness of breath. She went in for a stress test that showed a complication in her heart, but didn't know what the complication was. This requried a catheterization of her heart, during this they found two heart valves that need replaced, and also two bypasses due to blockages in her arteries. My mom and the surgeons have decided that the surgery is the best option for her, and the surgery is already scheduled for January 4, 2017.
My mom has always been a hard worker, even through her sickest days. The complications began to be too severe which caused her to stop working and during her time away from her job, she still worked part-time. My parents are those who never ask for help, and their only wish is for their family and everyone around them to be happy and worry free.
Our goal is to raise 10,000 to allievate some of the financial stress. This way my mom is able to focus on her recovery and healing process. Thank you to everyone who has shown love and support to our family. Your kindness and generosity is much appreciated during this difficult time and we are forever grateful.
