Jeannie Edwards-Fleisher’s Memorial Service

Hello, my name is Brian Garmon, the middle son to Jeannie Edwards-Fleisher, and our family ran into a situation on Saturday, January 20, 2024. My mother, Jeannie, was admitted to ER 4 days prior due to not adhering to her doctors orders regarding dialysis. She was lying in bed for 14 hours and I felt I needed to wake her because she had to do treatment. I noticed she was very fatigued and when I touched her she said it was painful. Painful to even move around. She hadn’t eaten anything and was dehydrated. I knew right then something was wrong. I told my told my younger brother, Eric, that I was worried and she needed to be cared for. She was admitted the next day and just a few days later she was on incubation; 5 drillers; and heavily sedated. They said she was able to hear but couldn’t speak. That bothered me because I wanted to connect. I soon left and returned the next day. They had taken her off sedation and she was still non-responsive. She was dying and there was nothing I could do about it. She died shortly after by heart failure. This has been the most painful feeling I have ever walked through. We are asking for help for a proper burial. We weren’t prepared and am going through some financial hardships right now. Every little bit helps and I thank everyone in advance for their contribution.
