Jebedia and Family for Medical Emergency
Donation protected
Hello, I am reaching out to the community for support for my son-in-law, Jebadia Donlon. Jebadia is married to my daughter Brianna, and they have a 3-year-old little boy together named Colton. My son-in-law was born with a connective tissue disorder called Marfan syndrome. Marfan comes with significant health issues when it is serious. Jebadia has undergone a great deal of pain throughout his life; however, he has continued to work supporting his family. Jeb has undergone surgery because of his disability, leading to titanium rods from his neck to his tailbone. This has caused Jeb to experience significant pain throughout his entire life. It is part of the course; however, no one should have to go through this type of pain. Recently, Jeb was given bad news as he went in for some testing with the cardiologist. Jebadia's heart is currently not functioning correctly, leading to CHF from his heart becoming enlarged and a faulty aorta.
Jeb was pulled from work and given strict orders not to do anything, or he would die. Per the doctors, His aorta is like a giant balloon that cannot stretch anymore. Any amount of stress or work will cause his heart to rupture. If the aorta stretches even a millimeter, he could die. The doctor stressed that he has a 100% mortality rate if this is not corrected and is shocked that he is still walking and talking about it right now. This is not only scary to them but also strains their household financially. My daughter and son-in-law would never ask for help. However, after speaking with them, they know they need the community's help to get through this difficult time. The next step is meeting the surgeon and then scheduling his surgery. This will also leave him out of work for an extended time as he recovers.
I am coming to you all for help and asking you to help them if you can. Share and pray as hard as you can. Jeb is a hardworking, dedicated family man who would do anything for anyone. His worries are about his son and wife ensuring they have heat, lights, food, gas, and necessities until he is able to return. We are all truly grateful for any help that is received.
