Jeb's Medical Expenses Fundraiser

**UPDATE July 17, 2022
Thank you to everyone who has donated so far and reached out with notes, calls, emails, Facebook messages and texts of concern. Dad's vascular surgery was successful, and he returned home a few days later to continue therapy and recovery.

Sadly, we had a setback on June 22. Dad went for a walk alone, got lost and confused, fell in a field and couldn't get back up. His screams for help could not be heard, and despite friends, family and police looking for him, he lay there through the night and into the next morning. He was found by a friend around 11am, miraculously still alive. The ER doctor said he was alive thanks to a thunderstorm that passed through, cooling his body and providing a few drops of water to drink. Thankfully, he had no internal damage from his traumatic experience. Dad spent the next two and a half weeks in the hospital and a rehabilitation center trying to build up his strength. He was discharged Sunday, July 10 and was so excited to be back in his home. Unfortunately, upon arriving at the apartment complex, he took a nasty fall in the parking lot due to ongoing lightheadedness. Luckily, he didn't break any bones but is quite sore, bruised, and discouraged by the fall.

The reality is that his road to recovery will be longer than anyone expected. Dad continues to suffer from brain fog from the strokes and still does not have use of his left arm and hand. He is working with a home health company for continued therapy.
We share this with you as an update and to let you know that we are continuing and expanding his GoFundMe. Please share with anyone you think would like the information!

May 2022
Hi! We are Bear & Gary (Jeb's sister and brother-in-law) and Molly (Jeb's daughter), and we are starting this Go Fund Me to help Jeb with his medical expenses and loss of income due to several strokes that took place in late April. He will be having vascular surgery on his carotid artery later in May and then likely need more rehab after that.

Most of you probably know Jeb through his music. He has been sharing his love of song across this country for decades. Jeb has played for all sorts of crowds, from bars to country clubs to nursing homes, constantly wooing them with his music. Playing gigs is his primary source of income, and the strokes have left him without the use of his left hand. While he's working hard in physical therapy to build back those muscles, he will be out of work for a while. We hope that his friends and fans from days gone by and more recent times will take this opportunity to fill this virtual tip jar and help our musician out as he recovers.
Thank you in advance for your generosity!
