Support for Jed's Housing

I'm currently unhoused in Lawrence and I have signed a lease on an apartment in town. However; because I signed alone on my lease as a 20-something, I have a lofty security deposit of about $1500 on top of my first month's rent. I have a steady job and I am getting some assistance from my parents but it is still gonna leave me with about $800 to pay before I can move in on August 15th. It is extremely important that I get this apartment because otherwise, I will be homeless and about 3 hours away from any family. I appreciate any amount of help the community can manage <3
