Please help Jef Bravine as he is in serious need.

We are starting this fundraiser for Jef Bravine who was hit by a car riding to work Friday morning, July 23rd on the east-side of town.

Jef is a brother to us all, has one of the kindest hearts on this planet and would give the shirt off his back to anyone. I would hope many out there will do the same for Jef. This dude is the epitome of a loving human being.

He was airlifted to Methodist hospital with very serious injuries Friday morning and today (July 26th) is undergoing surgery. I was told he is having a hard time moving his hands, has a fractured vertebrae, broken jaw, and multiple broken bones, etc. I don’t know the full details of his injuries as they won’t release that information to me but I know he is in serious bad shape—his clothes I picked up from hospital reveal the extent to which had happened.

Jef will almost certainly not be able to get back on his feet for some time and will need as much support as possible on all levels: emotionally, physically and financially. He has had a pretty rough year and a half and things had been looking really good for him with some really cool things in the pipeline for him coming up and then this tragic event unfolds on him heading to work on his bicycle. 

Anything you can do, donate, or just be there for him and send a kind message or visit him, I’m sure he will greatly appreciate it with his big heart and probably give you all the hugs you ever wished for in return. Let’s help our brother get back on his feet and give him a safety net whenever he is capable and able to go home, and an environment that he can recover in without worry.
