Paying Tribute to Jeff

UPDATE: It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts to share the loss of Jeffrey Ensor.

He was transferred to PAM yesterday afternoon. Kathy was with Jeff throughout the move and noticed something was not right. After telling the nurses about her concerns, Kathy was dismissed. She was told it was past visiting hours and she needed to leave or they would call the police despite her concerns or Jeff’s wellbeing. Kathy was able to spend some time with Jeff and snuggle before she was forced to leave.

They were both on disability and they do not have life insurance. Please consider donating to help cover the costs of Jeff’s medical treatments and funeral arrangements.

Kathy is really struggling right now and can use everyone’s prayers and support during this very difficult time.

Our brother, Jeff, is fighting for his life at Soin Medical Center, where he has been in the ICU for over 3 weeks. He’s been diagnosed with necrotizing Mersa in his lungs. He also has H1 N1 and rhinovirus. Jeff is also suffering from kidney failure.

He’s currently prescribed 10 medicines: three antibiotics, two pressers (down from 3) to keep his blood pressure up, propofol and fentanyl.

When Jeff wakes up, not if Jeff wakes up, but when, he will need at least 3 months of dialysis and multiple different therapies to help him recover and regain his strength. He will also need medical equipment and help with transportation home (which will cost $4,000-$6,000).

We believe that God will heal him, in Jesus’ incredible name!

Kathy needs our help as well! Kathy has been strong through this and praying fervently for Jeff. She is staying at the hospital 24/7 and will not leave his side. She is mentally and physically exhausted. She needs help with food and clothing. It costs about $20 per day for food. The only clothes she has are a few articles of winter clothing, as they had packed planning for a one week trip.
