Jeff and Lindsey Ramsdell need your help!

Hi! This is Jeff and Lindsey Ramsdell. Jeff and Lindsey are in need of some help while Jeff is going through some very serious medical issues with his heart. I took the following from a Facebook post from Lindsey from Tuesday (2-22-22) to help explain what is going on.

"For the most part Jeff and I have been quite quiet on social media about what is going on right now as we don't want our phones blowing up on a regular basis. This has been an incredibly stressful time for us. Some of you know and some of you may not know that Jeff has been dealing with non-ischemic congestive heart failure and cardiomyopathy for about four years now. His health has declined rapidly over the last year as his body has started to become resistant to the med therapy he has been on. An L-VAD (left ventricular assist device) was going to be the next step to tide him over until a new heart became available. It turns out that he is just not strong enough to endure the L-VAD surgery yet. So today he has been taken to the cath lab to have an external pump installed to assist his heart in pumping better. This is only a temporary solution to hopefully get him strong enough to handle the L-VAD surgery in the near future. He will most likely remain at UW in Seattle until that surgery is able to happen. I have been back and forth from Aberdeen to Seattle weekly. I am so thankful for our dear friends and family who have stepped up to help us through this (you know who you are). I will update more as I know more. I never thought we would be dealing with anything like this so early in life. Asking for prayers if you pray and as much positive energy as possible."

Today (2-25-22), as I type this, Jeff is getting the LVAD. This is great news. But financially this has put a huge strain on Jeff and Lindsey. So I am asking for donations for them.

Jeff has been up at the UW in Seattle for a few weeks now. And he will need to spend 1-2 weeks after surgery there. Then he will need to travel back to Seattle 3 times a week for several months after the LVAD placement. Making it impossible for Jeff to return to work for quite awhile.

Anything you can give will help with bills and help Jeff and Lindsey make it through this rough time.
