Jeff Bedinghaus Medical & Life Journey

Jeff Bedinghaus has always been a great father. He is a man with a giant heart (no pun intended), known to tell jokes and lighten the mood. He has three children from his first marriage (Nicole, Amanda and Andrew) and became the stepfather of two children two years ago (Nolan & MaKenna). He is a great husband to his wife Valarie, and an amazing papaw to his 6 grandchildren.
This has been a whirlwind year for Jeff. He has spent the last year, unsuccessfully, looking for employment during COVID, leaving him with no insurance or income.
He has been worried about his family and how the pandemic has negatively impacted all. His daughter, Nicole lost her job during COVID. As a single mom of two young girls, Jeff became the maintenance man around her house. Valarie is a hairdresser and was also unemployed during the pandemic shutdown.
Jeff, 58 years old, needed an emergency quadruple bypass on Monday, March 15th. There were unexpected complications from the surgery. His heart is only functioning at 10%. He will most likely need an LVAD to act as his heart, which is a long process of healing, physical therapy and training. It will restrict driving and physical activity making future employment difficult. Once he receives the LVAD, he will have to wait months, if not years, for a heart transplant.
His wife, Valarie, will have to leave her employment to care for Jeff as he cannot be alone for weeks.
We have seen GOD hard at work this week. He has created so many miracles, showing us that he is here for us and working his magic. We worry about the financial strain he and his family will face during the long road they have ahead of them.
They are asking for help. Any amount can be a tremendous help and greatly appreciated. Thank you and God Bless.
