Jeff Bumgardner Bergman Medical Expense Fundraiser

Jeff was recently diagnosed with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, which is a very rare, but aggressive disease. It effects the arteries of the lungs by constricting the blood flow and ultimately effects the right side of his heart. Heart failure is a constant concern for people with this rare condition. With the disease effecting air flow to his lungs, and no cure for it, he is currently going through the process for double lung transplant.

He has been traveling back and forth to Iowa City, for procedures and testing. Once all of those are complete, he will then be placed on the Iowa Donor Registry. With all of the appointments, being unable to work, and additional costs, we'd like to raise money to help with those expenses.

Money raised from this Go Fund Me will go directly to Jeff and his wife Kim. They will use the money for trips to and from appointments, a small remodel of their home to accommodate Jeff's need to be on the first floor of their home, as well as copays on bills already stacking up, and expenses associated with staying in Iowa City leading up to and after his transplant.
