Jeff Cartwright Memorial Fund

My husband, Tim Jones, and I have been "Framily" of the Cartwright's since 2012.  We have set up this fundraiser with approval from Jeff's wife, Teresa, and help from Teresa's daughter, Gabby, to help alleviate the financial expenses of the funeral home charges and the unexpected loss of wages.  While the VA does help with burial expenses, they are limited and do not cover the costs from the funeral home.  Teresa will have SOLE access to the funds raised directly through GoFundMe.  Tim and I do not have access to any of the donations.

Jeff Cartwright passed away unexpectedly on July 28th, 2020.  He served in the U. S. Air Force for 23 years, and was a very influential mentor to those who were lucky enough to serve with him.  He retired out of MacDill AFB in 2016, and returned to Texas with his lovely wife, Teresa, to work as a civilian at Dyess AFB in Abilene.  Jeff was a giant in the aircraft world, and has left his mark on hundreds of people. 

Those who knew Jeff, knew how much he adored his grandchildren, Hunter & Averi Culpepper, and Clara Murdock.  They were the lights of his life, and he loved spoiling them as often as possible.  Jeff was a dear friend, and would help whenever asked, and without hesitation.  Jeff will always be remembered as the Bud Light drinking, boat captain, Corvette driving, Jack of all trades.  He always played it straight, and he valued integrity and honesty. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, whether it was playing card games, participating in outdoor activities, or just lounging in the pool.  Jeff worked hard and played even harder.
