Jeff Hagner Emergency Fund
Donation protected
Many of you know Jeff Hagner as a caring uncle/brother/son/friend and always fun to be around. If someone was in need he was there to help out, whether it was giving of time or money. He still is all of that, but unfortunately he was battling an infection in his foot for 4 months and has a condition called Charcot. It is a condition causing weakening of the bones in the foot that occur when there is significant nerve damage. With the combination of the two, the doctors have decided to amputate below the knee.
Jeff did not want a gofundme page because he does not want a handout, but a bunch of his friends from Mukwonago High School knew that he was in need of some assistance and asked that a page be set up.
He has barely worked at all in the past 5 months and his bills have really started to stack up, not to mention all of the medical bills that are upcoming He has a house in West Allis with his dog and cat, he does have his mother and other family members helping out around his house as well as a neighbor that has been doing the shoveling for him.
In the coming months, he will first be learning how to adapt on just one leg until the prostheses comes in and then will have to learn to walk from there. This is going to be a long process, but one that he is eager to get going.
If you know Jeff, please do not feel as if you must contribute, but please do so if you can, he would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you to all that have donated already, I raised the goal because we still do not know what all of the hospital costs will be.
