Jeff & Haley Rowland: Jeff’s Cancer Returned

Jeff and Haley Rowland are co-pastors and leaders of the worship team at The Grace Place Church. Jeff’s cancer has returned and there’s a tumor that must be removed in his abdomen at the end of October. The surgeons plan on opening him up and removing anything that looks like cancer. The entire procedure is called Hipec, where they remove tumors and rinse his entire abdomen with powerful chemo for 2 hours. They say most patients have a 3-6 month recovery due to the severity of the procedure, in which his vocation as a truck driver comes to an immediate halt. Jeff had his first abdominal surgery a year ago when they found the cancer initially after an emergency appendectomy.

I’m asking that you’ll be generous, not only with your heartfelt prayers for Jeff, but financially as well. Pray that God continues the healing process and that the chemo will kill only what God wants it to kill. Pray that the side effects are none. Pray that God's will be done. Pray that their strength will be renewed every day. Pray for their minds and thoughts... that they stay on the Father and his purpose, will, and plan.
