RECOVERY HELP for Jeff Hartwell

Friends, Family, and Music Lovers!! I am seeking your help and support for my husband and Texas musician, Jeff Hartwell.
Jeff has Developmental Hip Dysplasia with Osteoarthritis in his left hip. HE needs hip surgery. The condition has resulted in cartilage and surrounding tissue to slowly deteriorate and now he has bone on bone in his joint. This is a very painful condition that Jeff has been enduring for the last 13 years. These last few years he's known he needed this surgery but continued to put it off because of cost. He cannot delay any longer. The surgeon told Jeff if he doesn't have this surgery in the next few months correction of the 23mm difference in the length of his legs will not be possible. The surgeon wasn't sure how Jeff is managing to walk at all. Even with a cane, the surgeon was dumbfounded as to how Jeff has managed to continue to work and function.
What the surgeon didn't realize is that this is just who Jeff is. He has endured because he has an amazing work ethic. loves to take care of his family and loves to play music. He keeps a smile on his face and pushed through. His wisdom, unconditional love, universal acceptance and love of life are extended to all people. Both new friends and lifelong friends know how incredible Jeff is. Only those very close to him ever see the pain and exhaustion at the end of the day.
Jeff is a self-made man who always puts others before himself. He has never known a stranger and is always ready to help anyone in need. He has played many benefits for others. Whether it is for a family that needs funeral funds, Flood Relief, Special Needs Christmas Party or just taking his guitar to a local nursing home to play for the residents. Jeff is always ready to take his guitar and spread music and happiness. We have lost count of the number of benefits Jeff has played in his career. Now he needs your help.
There is medical insurance but the co-pays, testing, doctor visits and pre-operative medical appointments have already exhausted our cash reserves. The out of pocket cost for the surgery, recovery and time out of work will be about $6000.00. I have swallowed my pride and I am humbly asking for your help. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
